What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer. Websites also use similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage. They are used to make a site work, to remember your choices and, where you agree, to measure how the site is used. This page explains what this website uses and how you can control it. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the website to work and do not require your consent.
- Website features. The site uses your browser’s local and session storage (under the name elementor) to remember things such as whether you have already closed a pop-up. Nothing in it identifies you, and it stays on your device.
- Spam protection. Our enquiry forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a form is being sent by a person and not a bot. To do this, Google may set a cookie called _GRECAPTCHA (kept for up to six months) and collect technical information about your device and how you use the page.
- Your cookie choice. A cookie called rb_consent remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so that we do not ask on every page. It is kept for six months.
Analytics (only with your consent)
We would like to understand how visitors find and use this website so that we can improve it. For this we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Analytics cookies are only set if you agree to them.
- _ga: tells one visitor apart from another. Kept for up to two years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps track of your visit. Kept for up to two years.
Google Tag Manager itself does not set cookies. The information collected is statistical: pages viewed, the type of device used and roughly where in the country a visit came from. We do not use it to identify you.
Content from other companies
- Google Maps. The map on our contact page is not loaded until you choose to view it. When you do, it is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies and collect information in line with its privacy policy.
- Social media and review links. We link to our Facebook, Instagram and Google profiles. These are ordinary links: those companies do not receive anything from this website unless you follow the link, after which their own cookie policies apply.
We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this website.
How to control cookies
- On this website: the cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time by opening Cookie settings, which is also linked at the bottom of every page.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in the settings of Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox and other browsers. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the enquiry forms, from working properly.
- Google Analytics: Google offers a browser add-on that stops Analytics from recording your visits on any website, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if the cookies this website uses change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
